Another new app online!
Today we launched our new app “Vogelführer Birdlife Schweiz” – a helpful and fun-to-use app to identify 308 bird species in Switzerland.
The app originated from the cooperation with BirdLife Schweiz, one of the largest nature conservation organisations in Switzerland.
“Vogelführer Birdlife Schweiz” not only provides you with free identification plates and lots of information to each bird, but also with helpful features like a search function and manual Id function.
The free basis version can be supplemented with a subscription to songs and calls, vidoes to each species included in the app, 3D models with an AR function, an automatic Id function and more.
The app is available for the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

This month biologist Fabian Karwinkel joined Sunbird Images as a Business Developer for scientific institutions. His aim is to evolve Sunbird’s product portfolio and help scientific institutions to achieve their goals.

The app originated from the cooperation between The Association of German Engineers (VDI e.V.), Ulm University, and Sunbird Images within the BienABest project.
